Bicol University OfficialSearching for Bicol University [see also: http://www.bicol-u.edu.ph/] in Facebook leads me to conclude: Amazingly, Facebook is not really as smart as Bing or Google! Facebook offers:
Did you mean: bicol unibershity
Moreover, I find this disturbing and as a personal insult because I, too, am an Alumnus of Bicol University. My three siblings and I attended grades school in Bicol University College of Education Laboratory School. My eldest sister and I were graduated from the University High School, Bicol University and we both finished our respective engineering courses in Bicol University College of Engineering and School of Arts and Trade. My two sons are also Bicol University elementary and secondary alumni and are presently pursuing their Bachelor's in engineering in Bicol University. Even my parents, both of them, earned their bachelor's from Bicol University, then known as Bicol Regional School of the Arts and Trades (BRSAT), now the College of Industrial Technology of Bicol University.
This particular page, https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000363791949, is nothing but a slur against the Institution which produced multitude of graduates of caliber, imbued with honor and professionalism, serving various corporations or non-profit organizations not only in the Philippines but all over the world! It also insults the school administrators and people who are toiling honestly and loyally in Bicol University, past or present.
Probably the owner of the said page failed miserably during his/her education in our Alma Mater that he or she is still griping about it, instead of asking oneself what did he/she had done to cause his/her failure. Yes, the page owner or creator, whomever he/she is entitled to his/her opinion, but maligning an Institution probably much older than his/her parents is intolerable for the majority of us who benefited from Bicol University, founded in 1969.
I believe the creator DELIBERATELY made this page for his/her enjoyment. Yet, he/she might have not thought about its implications. Why deliberate? The H key is three keys away from S key in a 101-keyboard.
